Member Perspectives
"Being new to Georgia, I found that The Southern was a great option to network with other industry professionals whose morals and ethics align with mine. Whether you are part of a large organization, an individual location, or a vender partner, I have found the folks who are a part of The Southern are genuine and down to earth. This has been a wonderful experience to network with so many great professionals that it has inspired me to be more active in our great profession with a goal of leaving it better than I entered it."
Cary Grossi, SCI-Atlanta Territory, Roswell, GA
“Being part of the SCCFA has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I truly value the collaboration and camaraderie among professionals who share the same passion for serving families in death care. Every meeting and event brings new perspectives and ideas that help me strengthen our operations and better serve our communities. I also appreciate the opportunity to connect with our vendor partners—many of whom bring forward innovative solutions that directly enhance how we do business. One of my favorite aspects of the SCCFA is seeing others succeed—especially when members earn scholarships and grants that support their growth and education. It’s a reminder that this association doesn’t just connect us; it invests in our collective future.”
Chris Hamiel, VP of Operations, Rollings and Pinnacle Funeral Service, Waynesville, NC
"Cave Hill Cemetery is proud to be a member of The Southern. Camaraderie, friendship, and wonderful programs make membership worthwhile."
